Assistant Pastor in Monterrey, Mexico since 2014
Ministry Overview
Originally from Spain, Nate studied at Universidad Cristiana de Las Americas (UCLA) in Monterrey, Mexico before attending DBTS. While in Mexico he met his wife, Keren – and in 2011 they travelled to Spain to plant a church. In 2014, Jericho Baptist Church in Monterrey called Nate to serve as assistant pastor. Responsible for discipleship and pastoral training, Nate develops materials and manages discipleship programs for church members, church leaders, and pastors-in-training. He also leads 10 community groups in his church that meet together weekly for fellowship, discussion and mutual encouragement.
Community Outreach
Jericho’s community groups reach out to people in their local communities. For example, once a year they assist Wheels for the World, an organization founded by Joni Eareckson Tada to provide wheelchairs to disabled children and adults in Monterrey. Nate also teaches at Universidad Cristiana de Las Americas (UCLA).
