Hebrew Exegesis of Zechariah
Dr. Kyle Dunham
Description:
An investigation of the Hebrew text of Zechariah with an eye toward its exegetical and theological features. Special attention will be given to textual linguistics and syntax within Zechariah, to introductory matters relating to the book’s background and prophetic setting (particularly within the Book of the Twelve), to pertinent literature investigating the book, and to the exegesis and theology of the book within its biblical-theological context especially as this relates to the book’s eschatological implications. These efforts will converge with a view toward aiding the student to interpret, correlate, apply, and teach/preach the book more accurately and effectively.
