2017 Day of Prayer

DBTS faculty and students enjoyed their annual Day of Prayer on Wednesday morning. The guest speaker was Brian Peterson, pastor of preaching and vision at Lebanon Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where DBTS hosts a satellite campus. Pastor Peterson preached from the Gospel of John, highlighting Jesus’ invitation to pray in John 14-15 and his example of prayer in John 17. You can listen to both messages here:

In addition to these times in the Word, students and faculty had the opportunity to share their burdens and requests with each other during times of prayer. The morning concluded with a time of praise and a great meal.
