How Long Does It Take to Prepare a Sermon?

   Might be worth noting that it takes less time to prepare an average long sermon than it does to prepare a good shorter one!

   When I was in the full time ministry, it took an average of 20 hours per week for me to prepare just the Sunday morning sermon. I have accumulated over 600 sermons. Looking back, that was a lot of time.
