Have you ever used the doctrine of the imago Dei to argue for Christianity? In these lectures, Dr. Threlfall will seek to demonstrate how a Christian anthropology, as informed by the imago Dei, offers the best explanation of the human condition. Through the use of this doctrine, he will also seek to commend a broader vision of Christian apologetics that encompasses not only the truth, but also the goodness and beauty of the Christian faith.
Speaker Bio: Jonathan Threlfall serves as the senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Concord, New Hampshire. Jonathan holds a ThM in Biblical Spirituality and a PhD in Apologetics and Worldview from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been published in two theological journals (Philosophia Christ, Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society). He and his wife, Christa, have four children.
