A seminary's most important
asset is its faculty, followed by its library. The quality of classroom instruction
is directly dependent on the quality of the professor's abilities, training,
and character. At Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, we place a premium on
these three things. Our professors must measure up to the highest standards
in their Christian lives, academic qualifications, and personal abilities. Each
of our professors holds an earned doctorate. Each man has demonstrated unusual
ability in his field of expertise. Each has distinguished himself as a man of
character, intelligence, and teaching skill. Each is committed to the glory
of God, the ministry of the local church, the need to train and send men into
the gospel ministry, and the need for personal and ecclesiastical separation.
